An Ayurvedic Health Counsellor uses holistic techniques from India to help patients create a healthy life, eliminate wastes, and reduce stress and illness. Through observation techniques that focus on the interconnectedness between body, mind, and spirit, we work with the entire well-being of the client.

The goal is to offer client's a way to get their health on the trajectory (in the direction) that they want it to go in. An example I see a lot in my practice is "I want to get out of pain" or "I want to reduce the inflammation in my body". I offer recommendations around diet, lifestyle, and yoga (movement, breath, meditation, cleansing, etc.).

Something to remember is that the client must be ready and willing to make changes in their life (diet, lifestyle, and mindset) for Ayurveda to work. There is no magic bullet or herb that will create health. Health is found in the day to day choices we make for ourselves - it's the little things we do every day that matter most.

The way I work with clients is in the form of consultations either in person, over skype, facetime, zoom or on the phone. It's whatever will feel more comfortable for you.
